If you need same-day dry cleaning, we do offer an express service, simply get in touch and we can get it sorted for you with a driver sent to you within two hours to pick up your items.

Shirts laundered and pressed
Whether you have to wear shirts to work or need one for a formal occasion, it’s important they’re taken care of properly. When you bring your shirts to us we will pre-treat them for stains with special attention given to the cuffs and the collars. They will then be laundered using state of the art machines and high-quality fabric softeners and detergents before being pressed while still slightly damp to give a perfect finish. We will then either hand up your shirts or fold them depending on what you prefer.
Duvet Cleaning
You use your duvet every day and while you might wash your cover often, you might not think to clean the duvet itself. Due to its use, it could be that you’re sharing your bed with a multitude of different bugs and bacterias that are harmful to your health. It’s recommended you clean your duvet every six months and when you drop it into us it will be completely refreshed, sterilised and cleaned to be as good as new. We will return it to you all packaged up and easy to store until needed.

What does the service involve?
There’s nothing like the smell and feel of fresh bed linen and our duvet and linen cleaning services are some of our most popular orders. We have a set laundry service for single, double, and king size beds. Our single bed set laundry service includes a bed sheet, a duvet cover and a pillowcase. Our double and king bed set service includes a bed sheet, a duvet cover and two pillowcases. We will wash and press all items, returning them packed up for easy storage.
Service Wash
If you don’t require your items to be ironed, bed linen can also be included in a service wash. With this we will wash, dry and fold your items ready to be delivered back to you.
Please make sure that any items given for a service wash can be machine washed and tumble dried as we don’t air dry items.
Duvets and More
In addition to bed linen, we can also clean your duvets, pillows, cushions, bedspreads, mattress toppers, mattress protectors and bed throws. It’s important to keep these items clean and fresh and we can return them to you good as new
We require a minimum of 48 hours to process these items and they will be cleaned according to their care label.

We can alter a whole range of clothes from trousers and dresses to skirts, suits and jackets. Our standard alterations take a minimum of 48 hours. Depending on the complexity of the item it can take longer and we also do alterations for children’s clothing if required.
Items are collected from your doorstep and taken to our premises in Cuffley, Hertfordshire. The items are then altered and delivered back to you at a time of your choosing.
Simply choose a time that suits you and we will pick up your clothes, dropping them back to you once they are done. With over twenty years of experience in the field, we will go above and beyond to ensure your items are finished to the highest standard.
Boot Cleaning

Shoe Repair Service
Your shoes go through a lot and that’s why over time they could end up looking less than their best. Whether your soles are wearing out, there are scuff marks you just can’t remove, or if your heel has snapped, we can help. We can replace the soles, re-heel them and repair any zipper that may no longer work.
We will carry out the majority of repairs in-house, however, if something more specialist is needed we will work with local expert cobblers to ensure the job is completed to the highest standard.
Lady Valet dry cleaners shoe repair process
Items are collected from the customer’s doorstep and taken to one the shops in our network of partners. The shoes, high heels, boots or loafers are then repaired and delivered back to the customer at a time of their choosing.
Some items such as those made from leather or velvet can require more time to return to their best state so please do allow for this. We will always endeavour to return your shoes as quickly as possible, without compromising on the quality of the repairs. We will pick your shoes up from your home at a time of your choice, and return them once they are fixed.
